设 $T$ 是 site $\mathcal{C}$ 上的预层。则它的层化是切片范畴上的余极限

$$T^{\#} \;\cong\; \varinjlim_{X \in \mathcal{C}/T}\ X^{\sharp},$$

这里每个 $X$ 都看成它的关联层 $X^{\sharp} = h_{X}^{\#}$。
